CeeDee Lamb Reassures Fans, Plans to Play Despite Shoulder Injury
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb downplayed concerns over his absence from practice Thursday, insisting he will be ready to play in Monday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Lamb, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury for the past four to five weeks, confirmed the injury isn’t serious. “Still have the shoulder injury, which I’ve been dealing with for four or five weeks,” Lamb said. “As far as Monday goes, I’ll be fine.”
Leading the team with 79 receptions, 880 yards, and four touchdowns in 2024, Lamb and the Cowboys are benefiting from an 11-day break between Thanksgiving Day and their primetime matchup. The 24-year-old receiver mentioned that his current injury is similar to a shoulder problem he had during his college years at Oklahoma. “I have my range of motion and I have my strength back,” Lamb added.
Lamb’s reassuring comments suggest he will be ready to contribute to Dallas’ offense when they face Cincinnati at home on Monday.
