Giants Sign WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey to One-Year Deal
The New York Giants have officially signed wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey to a contract on Friday, although the team did not disclose the terms of the agreement. However, ESPN has reported that the deal is a one-year pact.
Humphrey, 26, had a productive season in 2024 with the Denver Broncos, setting career highs in receptions (31) and receiving yards (293). He also scored one touchdown while playing in 17 games, seven of which were as a starter. His performance last season helped solidify his value as a reliable option on offense.
Standing at 6-foot-4, Humphrey brings a strong presence to the Giants’ receiving corps. Over his career, he has accumulated 62 catches for 770 yards and seven touchdowns across 58 games, with 23 starts. He has played for several NFL teams during his career, including the New Orleans Saints from 2019 to 2021, the New England Patriots in 2022, and the Broncos in 2024.
Humphrey entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Texas, and since then, he has proven to be a versatile and dependable receiver for multiple teams. His signing gives the Giants additional depth at wide receiver as they continue to bolster their offense for the upcoming season.
