In a heartfelt social media post, Warren reflected on his time at Penn State:
“Penn State gave me the opportunity to compete, learn, and be surrounded by outstanding men and women who have had such a large impact on my life. To my teammates, I’m thankful for every practice, workout, and game I stood alongside you all. To the fans and Penn State community, thank you for your support. I will always be proud to be a Nittany Lion.”

Record-Breaking Senior Season

Warren’s 2024 campaign was nothing short of spectacular. He tied for second in the nation with 104 receptions, racked up 1,233 receiving yards (sixth nationally), and scored eight receiving touchdowns. Showcasing his versatility, Warren also carried the ball 26 times for 218 yards and four rushing touchdowns and even completed 3 of 6 passes for 35 yards, including a touchdown.

Comparison to Recent Rookie Standouts

Warren enters the NFL at a time when rookie tight ends have delivered standout performances in recent years. The Las Vegas Raiders’ Brock Bowers set rookie records in 2024 for most receiving yards by a tight end (1,194) and most receptions by a rookie at any position (112). Detroit Lions rookie Sam LaPorta had a record-breaking 86 receptions in 2023 before Bowers surpassed it in Week 14 of the 2024 season.

Next Chapter for Warren

As one of the most versatile and productive tight ends in college football, Warren’s transition to the NFL is highly anticipated. His combination of receiving ability, rushing versatility, and football IQ makes him a top prospect likely to make an immediate impact in the league. The Nittany Lion standout leaves behind a remarkable legacy at Penn State and is poised to begin an exciting professional career.
